Each tier was comprised of four layers of moist white cake with alternating fillings of lemon/orange curd and fresh berries folded into Italian meringue buttercream. The outside of the cake was iced in Italian meringue buttercream.
I have had the privilege of tasting almost all of the cakes on the site, and amazingly, they taste even better than they look! Molly is an artist and a chef. She has an amazing ability to create confections that are so personalized and meaningful. I have had the best birthday cakes all of my life, and my wedding cake made the day so much more special since she made it for me using my favorite flavors and flowers.
